Sports Shooting Action Camp (SSAC) is a four day Peninsular Florida District Action Camp that brings young men together from all over Florida and teaches them about shooting sports. You will learn basic shooting and firearm safety involving archery, shotgun and small bore rifles. By the end of this event each participant will have earned their NRA Rifle Shooter’s Card, NRA Shotgun Shooter’s Card, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Hunter Education Safety, one green skill merits, and five silver skill merits.

Pre-Requisites: 

• Participants must have previously completed blue skill merits Air Gun Safety and Marksmanship. Outpost Coordinators must provide merit completion dates during registration.

• Participants must complete the online portion of FWC Hunter Education. They must upload their certificate during registration and bring it to camp. 

The FWC Hunter Education course can be completed via this link free of charge.
