Sports Shooting Action Camp (SSAC) is a four day Peninsular Florida District Action Camp that brings young men together from all over Florida and teaches them about shooting sports. You will learn basic shooting and firearm safety involving air rifle, archery, shotgun and small bore rifles. Each participant will enter their scores into the Royal Rangers National Shooting Sports Program (NSSP) Top Shot Competition. By the end of this event each participant will have earned their NRA Rifle Shooter’s Card, NRA Shotgun Shooter’s Card, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Hunter Education Safety, 2 green skill merits, six silver skill merits, and become lifetime members of the National Shooting Sports Program (NSSP).

Participants must have previously completed blue skill merits Air Gun Safety and Marksmanship. Outpost Coordinators must provide merit completion dates during registration.

Participants must complete the online portion of FWC Hunter Education. They must upload their certificate during registration and bring it to camp.
